Accessibility Statement
Effective date: June 10, 2026
Bond Local is committed to making our digital marketplace accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our ongoing efforts under Israeli law and international accessibility standards.
1. Introduction
Bond Local operates in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and related regulations governing access to public services and digital interfaces in Israel. We aim to conform, to the greatest extent reasonably possible, with WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines for web content accessibility.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review our platform regularly and update pages, components, and third-party integrations to reduce barriers for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
2. Platform Adjustments
The following accessibility practices are implemented across the Bond Local platform:
- Semantic HTML: Meaningful page structure using headings, landmarks, lists, and native form controls.
- Keyboard navigation: Core flows (browse, cart, checkout, account, and support) support keyboard-only operation with visible focus indicators.
- Alternative text: Product and storefront imagery includes descriptive
altattributes where meaningful to assistive technologies. - ARIA labels: Icon-only controls, dialogs, and dynamic regions use appropriate
aria-label,aria-labelledby, and live-region patterns where native semantics are insufficient. - Color contrast & responsive layout: Mobile-first layouts with touch targets sized for ease of use, and theme options that maintain readable contrast in light and dark modes.
- Right-to-left (RTL) support: Arabic and Hebrew locales use logical spacing and mirrored navigation patterns.
3. Accessibility Component
Bond Local integrates an automated accessibility overlay widget (such as UserWay, Enable, or Nagish B'Click) that loads asynchronously after the initial page render. The floating accessibility icon allows users to adjust text size, contrast, spacing, and other display settings without leaving the site.
You can open accessibility settings at any time from the site footer via the Accessibility Settings control, or by activating the widget icon displayed on screen once the overlay has loaded.
4. Accessibility Coordinator — Contact & Barrier Reports
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Bond Local, or if you require assistance completing a purchase, managing an order, or using any platform feature, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator directly.
